”Exploring color is the main focus of my work and my favourite way to do so is with floral, still life and occasional landscape compositions. The subject itself is only a jumping off point from which I create a stylised version in order to emphasise mood and color vibrations. I use a combination of thin transparent to thicker opaque paint as well as direct and energetic brushstrokes to give movement and create a beautiful surface quality to the painting.”
